From Dublin city centre - take any of the following buses, 4,
9, 40, 140, or the number 83 bus NORTHBOUND from the city centre and ask to get off
(after Hedigan/Brian Boru pub) at Prospect Way. Go towards Botanic House Pub and Iona Rd is

There is a Nitelink service from Westmoreland Street (between Trinity College and O'Connell Bridge) Monday - Wednesday 0030 and 2.00 and Thurs to Sat 00.30 every 20 mnutes to 4.30(2004 Fare 5 euro.)
From Dublin Airport by bus - Get any bus going towards city centre but
one which stops at Quinns Pub on the Dromcondra Road. Cross over and walk up St
Alphonsus Road which leads to Iona Road at the church go straight on and Botanic
View Bed and Break/Self Catering is at the top of this road on the right.
From Dublin Airport by Taxi - 2012 price for 2 people would be
approx. 20 Euro.
From Dublin Airport by car - Take the M1 towards the City Centre ( do
not enter the tunnel). After about 5km you will see Regency Airport Hotel on the
left hand side, and at the next set of traffic lights, turn right on to Griffith
Avenue. Drive up Griffith Avenue for about 1km and turn left at the
traffic lights on to St Mobhi Road. Continue on straight - Na Fianna GAA Club
and Bank of Ireland on the left and Sunnybank Hotel is on the right. At the next
traffic lights with Botanic House Pub on the right, just turn left onto Iona
Road and we are the first two houses on the left.
Alternatively a taxi will leave you right at my door!
From Dublin Port Ferry (foot passengers) - hop in a taxi!
From outside Dublin - The M50 motorway is a ring road which circles Dublin. If you are coming from the west or south - take M50 northbound and get off the M50 at the N2 exit (FINGLAS) drive around under the M50 (landmark Joe Duffy BMW garage) and follow route to city centre. Drive approx 3.5km towards Glasnevin Cemetary which is 3 traffic lights before my house. Keep on road, enter one way system, veering right, then take sharp left. Iona Rd is opposite Botanic House Pub (on right).
